| Three Club members traveled to Ocean City MD to attend the annual 9/11 A Day of Remembrance Boardwalk Ride,
After the 3 mile parade on the boardwalk a remembrance ceremony was held at the 9/11 monument on the boardwalk, it was very moving, this event was put on by Red Knights Md 3, job well done guys.
Following the ceremony it was off to Harrison Harbor Watch restaurant for a great seafood meal. While eating lunch we met a gentle named Matt who turned out to be the head of the entire Bike fest. He was have lunch with the band Slaughter who was the headliner tonight, there was a camera guy following him doing a documentary or something on him, RP went on camera and explained about the World Trade Center trees being made in Coatesville and gave him one of our new Challange coins, Matt thanked us for our service as firefighters at that time the lead singer of Slaughter came over and thanked us as well, then Matt offered us tickets to tonight’s concert we graciously turned down due to having to get back home.
What an awesome day all said and done we did 292 miles round-trip |
