November 13, 2011

On Sunday November 13, 200 five members of the club and two guest made a trip to the Birdsboro Fire Company to join the Bros Motorcycle Club on the annual toy run to The Children's Home of Reading. Every year the Bros Motorcycle club do this ride that benefits this children's home, the toy run is always the most popular with the kids.

The Children's Home of Reading takes in kids of all ages from broken families and teaches the kids everything they need to be ready for life in the real world.

The ride started at the Birdsboro Fire Company with around 50 plus bikes including our very own R.P. Scott who got the honors of escorting Santa on the ride. After the short ride over to Reading we arrived at the Children's Home and were greeted by all the kids cheering us on as we arrived.

At the home toys were unloaded and then a few short words by members of the Bros Motorcycle Club thanking everyone for the participation after that several of the Children from the home got up and also thanked everyone for coming and announced that there were snacks and beverages available that the kids prepared.

After the presentation everyone got an opportunity to talk with kids and socialize between each other before heading home for the day.

The Red Knights would like to thank Bros M.C. for their hospitality and organizing a great ride, we hope to see you next year.
